Easter Advent

In our family, we love to hunt for eggs and eat way too much chocolate and marshmallow bunnies during Easter time, but we try to spend some time focusing on the true purpose of Easter. This can be difficult with kids who get very excited about dying eggs and hunting for candy, so this year, we combined both versions of Easter and made an Easter Advent.

Mint Chocolate Chip Christmas Cookies

I started these cookies off with my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. The only change I made was, I left out the 2 cups chocolate chips and instead used 1 cup mint M&Ms and 1 cup Nestle winter dark chocolate and mint morsels. The effect was wonderful!!!
